Need a rule for trams

I need a rule that tells trams to follow a certain route and stop at every station on said route. Or something that says go from station A to station D and stop at all stations (b,c) in between

You can use passenger enabled stations for this and in driver commands instruct your driver to drive to station a - load then drive to staion b - load and so on. If your stations are not passenger enabled then just place a trackmark at each and then in your driver commands use navigate the trackmark a - wait for x minutes, then navigate to trackmark b - wait for x minutes etc

I do that now, it's just issuing 20-30+ commands to anywhere between 6 to 30 trams gets old.

It,s a pity you don,t have 2010. Then you could get away with only writing one schedule and saving it.

I know, I often wonder why it took till TS10 to add that feature. I might get 2010, but I need a new computer, my old one slows to a crawl in some of my tram routes

You can use the scehdule library rule on the DLS to set the instructions up once and then tell each tram to use the command from the library.
