Really happy with 2010. But one small problem with my name saving on my platforms, mainly the 350m one. I can enter everything ,name on sign ,station size ,peak size, number of passengers. can save it or so it says when i exit surveyor and go back in. the names and info has gone?????. Any Ideas. Did have this problem with 2006. but cannot remember how it resolved itself. I maybe missing to do something obvious.

The properties of stations (and other industries) are save in the session. You have to open the session for editing to keep these values. It is a good practice to create a default session, where all properties are set correctly.

Tried that, did not seem to work. Maybe I am being dumb. its the edit session on the drop down menu or do i have to go elsewhere.

Sean In the first menu after you click routes, yoy will see a number indicating sessions on the right. click the >> and the sessions will be revealed. Click once only on the session that you are working on and it will load the previous adjustments or work that you have done.
If you are building your layout and adding scenery, the first thing you should do id click the layout icon on the right and change to route layer. If adding rules or loco,s etc etc then use session layer. Layers are a little confusing at first but wonderful when you understand how it works.
Also, if you find your route is missing assets that you know you,ve added, A easy way to check in CMP is to open the config file for that session and see what assets have been added to the session. This is an easy way to check out if you,ve made a mistake and forgotten to change the route/session control.
