N3V Games looking for paid staff

sorry aardvark1 i talk double dutch sometimes, as bob stated 52 x $600 = $31,200 it may cover house payments just but it will not cover food bill, electricity bills, water bills, land rate bills, insurance bills for car and house and content, as well as running costs rego petrol, health insurance and
of cause there are other costs as well not stated.
the average 3 bedroom house on the GoldCoast is $450,000 to $600,000
I really believe that the cost of living is way to high and needs to change
in order for the average joe to get ahead in life

It's about the same here up in the Northeast, USA. Houses in my area start at $450,000 today. This salary N3V is asking to pay maybe for an experienced help desk person for that company, but sadly this is usually the starting range today. With over 20 years doing this kind of stuff, I can now demand a salary of twice that and more, and get it. Yet in my case the position is then more managerial, and less hands on now, plus it also has a lot more special projects, which are fun to do, and this makes the job less stressful. Australian Dollars are nearly on par with the US Dollar today, so we're talking apples to apples, unlike when it's about Euros and Dollars, which are on two different scales.

For help desk type positions, you need excellent communication skills, patience, beyond patience you'd think you'd ever need, and a resiliency and stamina to deal with a lot of trash that gets thrown your way. Once you get through this you've made the grade, and you can then move up the ladder.

It gets better than that! :D

Customer sends in a ticket with: "Help, my Trainz won't start"
Helpdesk: "Have you tried...______________" (fill in the blank)
Customer: "My Trainz won't start", (completely ignores helpdesk offer for help).

The customer then ignores the answers and the emails back and forth from the helpdesk. After a couple of weeks, the ticket is closed.

Customer then complains in the forum that no one on the helpdesk will do anything, won't respond to tickets, etc.
