Do you even PLAY trainz, or did you just buy a copy of TRS2006 so you could gain access to the forums and spam us all? Learn how to look things up, use proper grammar/punctuation, and let these threads DIE!!!

N&W 611 revival?

IS the TVRM going to put ex Norfolk and Western 611 back in service for the Norfolk Southern steam program?

how many times have the others and myself have gone over this,it is not going to happen, even though it would be nice if it did since it is a modern steam engine, still, the Norfolk Southern is already busy with freight train operations plus,I don't know if this has happened yet,and getting the steam program up and running again so as for 611 returning to the high iron, not anytime soon!

K4 driver, don't worry about it,he is only asking for more trouble,it is only a matter of time before the mods get to this and other ones started by him!

The pride of the Southern railroad returns

Not a chance!

what, your kidding right,it is too expensive to carry out such a task, and all of the tools that were used on this locomotive either vanished or went to another railroad museum for preservation, anyway the point is,the 1218 is not going to steam again, besides, the Norfolk southern is too busy with freight traffic and not to mention the steam program that the Norfolk southern is trying to revive by using the steam engines of the 2-8-0 and 2-8-2,you have to remember that the last time the two locos that ran were 611 and the 1218 with older passenger equippment, resulted in a series of accidents that injured some people at the same location, the great dismal swamp, that caused the railroad to pull the plug on the program to begin with and they simply can't cope with the insurance that was rising at the time!:n:
