my trainz is requesting a seriel key and i do nt have one what do i do?

Nobody made any direct accusations at anyone. Just curious, but did someone appoint you the thread killer of Trainz Forums? This is the second time you've posted a request to close a thread. If this thread has run it's course it will end on it's own.

Perhaps if you read my post again you may change your mind.

That doesn't request the thread be closed though even if it did, what's the problem? Generally people will stop posting on a circular thread, ie, it goes away into oblivion, or someone will request it be closed when it starts becoming a bun fight as this is heading.

On topic, as this thread stands, if the OP has a genuine request, there is more than one response that would certainly put them off any further involvement with Trainz given the tone and accusatory content in them. If it is a chancer, then the issue will solve itself so Zec's post advising contact the helpdesk is the logical conclusion.

The first Trainz I ever bought didn't have a key in the box.I contacted the help desk & got a new key.Only after verifying with Auran the disk was an original not a copy.

I don't see this thread as heading for a fight at all. And I don't enjoy people trying to "guide" it in any direction. As you say, if the question was answered, and it was, it will disappear on it's own. There are some excellent suggestions in this thread, including the one by Aardvark, and I hope N3V does post it in every section. If you don't think people are trying to use scams to get a free version of Trainz, then you are living in dreamland. And I doubt very much the OP had his feelings hurt. He got the necessary info he needed, whatever his situation.

They didn't say which version they had. You can get TS2006 at Target for about $10. Course they don't offer it online.

please help i lost my serial key in moving and i need to acess my trainz:'(

This is funny I went thru all the post and "trickyboy11" hasn't responded to any of the post i think the name says it all, he needs to purchase a real copy as all of us have no free beeeeees only on the DLS....... and as stated above lost his serial key first thing I did when done downloading was burn a copy too cd with the serial in a text file and named it for the version it is i do that with all my downloaded games.....
