My Trainz down?

Trainzing since 12-2003
I am unable to connect to the DLS or other services associated with my My Trainz account.

Is anyone else having problems?
 
It's a big holiday weekend, Fathers Day in Australia this weekend, the hampster is running the show ... the DLS should be up and running by Monday ... maybe Tuesday :hehe:

Wait ... It's up again ... The hampster must have temporarily fallen asleep in the wheel again

I figured it was something like that!

We can't get to www.auran.com either.

Maybe there are some server upgrades going on and of course they picked our long weekend to do it.

There are DNS issues of some kind. Maybe the new server came in and it's being cut into place.
 
Sunspots ? N Korean hackers ? Maybe it won't come on ... again ... ever ... Oh the horrors ! :'(

I'd have to actually go outside and do something ... like cut the weeds

I just did that! I was getting sweaty palms and feeling faint.

No that was the Y2K Doomsday bug ... I got my panties all wadded up in a bunch ... for nuttin !

Yesterday (Friday PM in UK) my copy of TANE Build 82718 SP1 stopped responding and froze. Only way to close it was force close in win 10.
Today I still have the problem and TANE will not proceed beyond the Start screen, Authorisation Servers showing. I have checked and my ID and internet connection is correct. Could it be a server problem or should I re-install TANE
Any help would be appreciated as I have only just decided to go TANE and leave TS12 behind.

Very infrequent power outage or ISP down, here in the UK Good old British Telecom or BT keeps things going mainly:p

Yup. I've visited the Big Texan a few times - the place with the jocks think they can eat a 72 oz. (4 lb.) 2.2 KG steak along with all the side dishes, salad, and a shrimp cocktail in 30 minutes or less.

Nope... I never did it in case you're wondering. The food wasn't bad though and they have a YUGE gift shop too with all kinds of touristy stuff.

Run a database repair that will take care of that. It sounds coincidental, but maybe not. There's no need to reinstall.

TS12 would have gone into a completely stuffed up validation which would have run until this morning. T:ANE is better in this respect and will work offline even if you are supposed to be connected for a short time.

Gads if I reinstalled everytime a program crashed, I'd spend my time inserting DVDs and reinstalling programs from my external drive!

Thanks for the advise John.
Tried database rebuild etc..all the usual way of getting things back, but to no avail.
Decided to reinstall and ended up with pre SP1. from the original N3V copy discs as I had mislaid the SP1 update USB key sent from the Far East (Far East of the UK that is)
Eventually ported TANE over from desktop to my new laptop but had lost a lot of my previous recent laptop WIP.
Ah well, now have had a weekend of faffing around with CM and downloads playing up.
But after all it is a hobby......
