My Previous versions of Trainz

I just rejoined Trainz downloading TS12, I started downloading content over the past week with no problem, however it seems I may have a problem downloading content now due to a conflict with my having owned previous versions of trainz which may have different passwords. How do I look up the log in and passwords info? So far I looked in my profile and dont see anything.
In a nutshell I think I need to correct and make sure all log in and password info is the same so that N3V recognizes me. Any help is appreciated

Collect all your usernames with email addresses and registered games and send a ticket to the Helpdesk asking them to merge your account into one.

If memory serves, I think I owned 2 other versions 2004 and 2006, thats a long time ago, how do I find what user names I used? and the email addresses? I think there is only one email address that no longer exists but I dont even know if I used it for trainz. So how do I collect this info? Thanks for your help!

Mention this detail in your note to the helpdesk.

As long as you have the serial numbers, I'm sure that can be figured out.

I always kept a handwritten log book of: UN, PW, EMail address, disc/digital download installation codes, as well as writing on a piece of masking tape on the CD case, writing down all this information ...

And I never use a IP providers EMail program as my EMail address, ie: Comcast, XFinity, RCN ... as if you drop your IP provider, or move to another location, with another IP provider, you lose that EMail capability

A ticket has been sent, I found only 2 account Serial numbers.
Dont know if this means anything but in the "start screen" and "options" and in the "general" tab is my serial number for TS12, should the serial number of my older version TS 2006 be there? Could this be the problem?

It should, but I can't remember. It's been ages since I've used TRS2006.

The serial for your TRS2006 is clearly already registered to this TinPan account. So if you go to My Trainz you will find it there.

You claim to have recently bought TS2012, so it should be easy to find that serial and go and register it to this same account on My Trainz.

If you had older versions but don't have the account, email address and serial number, consider it something of history that will not return; as you have a recent version there also is no (more) need to add them to your account (except for maybe "looks cool on forum"). Say goodbye and move on.

Im not using TRS2006, dont even have it in the pc, but the problem is I suddenly can not download content, Im told that N3V does not recognize me? because I owned a previous version of trainz, I now have TS12, there is a conflict somewhere, email & password is all the same, so Im wondering if what I wrote above could be the conflict.

The reason you can't download is because the TS12 game isn't registered to your account. Go to My Trainz and fix that yourself.
If you already registered it there, send a ticket to the Helpdesk.
If you can't register it there, you most likely didn't obtain the game legally or you registered it to a different account as the one you are using in game.

It's not illegal I bought it straight from the Trainz site and I did register it, How am I to know if it's registered to a different account? I dont remember it asking me "to what account do you want to register it to", so I guess I just have to wait for the helpdesk to get back to me. Im just anxious to start building a layout.

Easy to tell what account it is registered to. When you do your settings area you have to enter your user name and the serial number. This is where TS12 will validate if you are a valid user. Go in there and see what you used.

This is what should be entered in your CM area to download off the DLS.

He told me in MyTrainz that he has both 06 and 12 serial numbers showing in "Serial Numbers", and I believe him, and until you can prove otherwise, I believe that the helpdesk ticket will merge his discrepancies in his 2 accounts, as he says it was an official N3V digital download, I believe he has a legitimate TS12 installation, and just needs his accounts refreshed and merged

Heard from the help desk

Heard back from the Help Desk, and they said the same thing, check UN & PW and check "case sensitive" letters. I told them in my message that I checked all that. Whats REALLY!!!! bugging me is that this was all working a few days ago and this problem came on suddenly. I was downloading with no problem. I would understand better if it never worked to begin with but this happened just like turning off a light switch. Anyway if this sparks an idea with anyone I appreciate all help, I will also inform the help desk and be more clear with my description of whats going on.

I just noticed this: let me know if this means something, no matter what content I put into my download cart they all display "invalid content"

That could be version-related.

If you are attempting to download an asset with Build 4.3 into TS12, it won't work and you'll get an "invalid content" line.
