My Health

It may be trite but good luck in whatever you do and hope for the best. It's not the years in your life but the life in your years.

As a side note, this has got to be one of the best places on the Net. A place to share not only Trainz but interact with so many really great people too.

Cancer....I hate it. My mother had a melanoma (really bad) that she had taken out recently. Scared us all. I hope whatever treatment you choose results in as much success as my mothers did!

This is so sad man, Im really sorry to hear this. I wish there was a way we could help and really man God bless your soul and i hope if you decide treatment you will pull through and get well.

Thanks for all the well wishes I think I said I am 99% of going for option 3 just want to talk it through with my GP on Wed as I said so keep an eye on this space :)

Also one thing I forgot to mention in my last post is my attitude atm is Cancer might have won this battle but I AM GOING TO WIN THE WAR!!!!!!!

I've just had a good read through this. My Goodness, it's amazing how much everyone pulls together in situations like these. I'm sat here, with tears in my eyes reading this thread, not just at your news, but at how strong and determined you are to beat this. I don't think we've ever exchanged conversation, but I think you're an absolute credit, and I have the utmost respect for you, and I personally think you're making the right decision by continuing with the treatment. As has been said, survival rates are so much higher now than just a few years ago. We are so close right now to curing so many different kinds of cancers. Don't lose faith-keep those tanks filled with diesel, those pantograph's raised and those fires burnin' white!

I wish you all the best, Joe. Godspeed.
