Murchison 2 Install

Downloaded my copy of the new Murchison 2 but it will not unpack and I end up with a message saying corrupt files and "CRC failed in setup-1a bin".

How do I overcome this? It suggests I should redownload the file but at 822mbs do not want to do this if there is an actual problem with the file!

You can't fix a CRC error without re-downloading the file as you probably have a bit missing.
If no one else is reporting errors then you will have to download again. If every one is getting the same problem then contact Auran.
CRC errors if you are the only one getting it are usually due to a corrupt download not an error with the file. What are you using to download? If you use a download manager that resumes, they are normally are more reliable at getting the whole file.

I've DLed the file without any corrupt files. Bite the bullet and re-DL the file before you go to bed, and it will be waiting for you in the morning.

Geoff,
Here's a good free download manager program. Go to this site; http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ - and click on; DOWNLOAD FDM FREE on the right hand side of the page, then download the one that says; FDM ver. 3.0 build 848 (6,4 Mb, setup)
Install FDM and then try to re-download the file from Auran.
If the download gets interrupted, FDM will automatically resume the download.

Couldn't agree with you more. I think I've spent more time on the Murchison 2 layout/route than all the rest combined. (Pleased to read you got it sorted).
