multy trainz versions on same hard drive?

Hello:
I just bought TRZ2010 in the box unopened.
If I install it on the same HD as Trz1012 H4
Will I run into problems.

Install it into it's own folder without merging ( or whatever it's called) and you'll have no problems.

I have 3 versions of 2010, 1 version of 2012 and 1 version of 2004, Plus a freestanding version of Murchison 2 on my computer and they all run happily together,

Just out of curiosity, why would one want to keep a legacy version of trainz on their computer?

Quite simply to use content that is not compatible with later versions for whatever reason.

Its no problem to have mulitple version of the game on the same harddrive so long as they are in their own folders. I currently test/build on 2 versions but have others installed as well.

There are a lot of assets that I prefer to use that will only run in 2004.It is also nice to wander down memory lane sometimes.

@xcrossi, no, you will not run into any problems that are major. The only problem you will run into is say you want to download something to your Trainz 2012 CMP. If you had been using your Trainz 2010 CMP, and did not open your 2012 CMP after you were done using the 2010 CMP to download the item into the 2012 CMP, the item will get downloaded to the 2010 CMP. That's the only flaw.
