MP36 Project

Can you make an MARC and VRE? They own MP36s. I would also like to my reskin of it.

Hi all!
It`s good to see, that there is some interest on that project again. First of all I don`t want to promise anything,like release date,or what I will make or not, let`s be patient, it will take as much time, as it will. First I need to make the body. I want to make as much liveries, as I can, but this is my first attempt to make a loco.

I will stay subscribed to the project.
Sorry if i brought my thread up from the dead again. I've been really busy, so I am really sorry to all that have been waiting. I've been trying to upgrade the F59phi mesh into an MP36, but that didn't work, then I've started another mesh which is slowly progressing. If anyone has a mesh that has a better start, please let me know, so I can help with that. Thank you all who have helped.

This is really the 1st thing I've build, thank you for commenting Klinger.
My problem is importing the mesh into GMAX 1.2. to start with. I need to put it into the right file format to import.

will the MP36 go on the DLS evetually? It would be so cool if it does as I am working on a poor reskin of the F40s for Cal train and Yokun zoom has done the coach and cab carriages for them.
So if you are sticking that on the dls, thats pretty cool, thanks

Well my engine has changed from a MP36 to F40 Stretch because I found a F40 model to build off of in Sketchup. I finish the marker lights and rear headlights along with the steps on the back of the engines currently I am trying to add side detail before import into gmax. The locomotive I plan to make I hope to make look like the MBTA F40PH-2C. Then maybe as soon as I become a strong and steady builder maybe a Genset!! But does anyone know how to take screenshots in Sketchup??
