Model Railroadz

OT again.

But i have the region and i don't see any

Now I think about it, EVWR1 has the original version of the Region, but EVWR2 has the updated version <kuid2:203465:10543:6> which has three 18-wheelers (propane tanker, petrol tanker and flat bed loaded with a 20' container) plus a rust-bucket car towing a domestic trailer loaded with a derelict refrigerator! Clovis 2.5 also has the updated region...

On Topic!

@ Kimo
The attention to detail on those road surfaces is amazing. The variation in textures, the man hole covers, the way the whole thing comes together is route building at its absolute best. Love it!

Yeah. I didn't like that corner building blocking my view of the trains:cool:

Thank you all for the comments. Glad to see the amount of interested followers in this thread and all the great screenshots from everyone.
This route was inspired by the HO scale City Edge layout.

Does anyone know what these cars are called, or who made them?

The autos you are quoting are from HPTrainz Lotharhake. The Corvette is from http://www.mistral69.com/

That layout looks VERY nice!!! It kinda inspired me to want to make a street scene for myself too!!

Where did you get these objects from???

I'm talking about:

the streets/intersections,
Tracks,
Auto shop,
flooring below the layout,
and that yellow corvette?????

I know that's a lot of stuff to ask, they all look great. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

Excuse me for quoting a pic.
The main road is a pack from http://www.trainzart.pl/ The side roads are Road-Asphalt 5m on dls by drstrach. Other roads used as patched work are Z FUNKY Roads from USLW and 00000 Asfalt built in TS12.
The auto shop is on the dls: garage02
The floor is Black carpet from JointedRail's simulatortrain
Corvette. See above quote

Kimo, I would recommend putting in check rails for that street. JR has Crossing Checkrails on the DLS.

No thank you, I like it as it is.

I've always wanted a good region, especially with a 18 wheeler! Where can i get that region

Region ?

Thank you. Glad to see you're interested in Model Railroadz. looking forward to your next project.

Hey Kimo, where did you get the BNSF GP30? I also love that little scene within the garage.

CloakedGhost GP39-2. I don't think its available, I believe it was bonus content from another purchase.

Hello kimo505,
may I ask where the road markings and traffic lights come from? They fit perfectly to the scene.

Kimo, you should make the former site of the corner building a demolition site. :hehe: The diorama is just so great, I feel like there are less urban routes than rural routes.

Kimo that is amazing. Drop dead gorgeous. Never seen a city done so well in the ten years I've been on this forum. Those roads though...look mighty tasty!

More pictures, this diorama is complete for now. Maybe I will expand it.

Great work Kimo505! I love your attention to detail. This is so beautifully finished - (or is it to be expanded?) Your images are so sharp, what camera do you use? Cheers,

The yellow and white lines are on the dls, search Dm-Str by danielmueller. The other markings are felix_g, FG road markings on dls.

That was the idea, Rather than extend the parking lot. The work crew are supposed to be in the final stage of clean up.

Thanks, you do some very inspiring work as well.

Thank you. expansion is unlikely, I was just playing around with this as I do with most routes I create and never finish. However, I am thinking of doing a larger one. I edit my shots with Gimp btw.

Thanks again everyone.

Having another go at one of these. Basing it off of my electric route. Have yet to add catenaries, though..

Early WIP!
