LOL!

Hi Felix!

What is that pic all about? New route you are going to give to us soon???

Sleepless waiting:

Woelferl
That's still the same route I'm working on since last summer or so.
I would recommend to get some sleep though, release date is not that soon... ;)

Glad to see you back at it, Felix! Will be following this one, need an excuse to run my American stuff again :p

Cheers
Stevo
Glad to help you with your excuse Stevo! :D

Your screenshots show just what level of detail and realism can be achieved by working within the relatively limited dimensions of a model railway layout - as do those by Woelferl.

I hope I achieved some of this with Westwold and my other current project 'Appen' (more details, see links in Banner).

An inspiration to all who are interested in virtual model railway/railroad layouts - I hope I can achieve the same level of realism! I must continue to persevere - but I keep getting sidetracked into content creation.

Agreed, I just had a look some pages back and Woelferl's work is outstanding indeed. So is yours... I like how you have used a normal sky instead of a backdrop on your Westwold layout. I was considering that at some point too but then had to drop the idea because that would make it quite difficult to hide the staging yards on the same level.

@itareus and felix_g:

thanx for the flowers! I like your work too!

@felix: I play Emily Bay from time to time and have a LOT of fun with it.

By the way: I took my sleeping pills...:hehe:

First, thank you for the kind remarks.

The 'norma'l sky was not implemented in the TS12 release of Westwold but will be a feature of TANE 1 and future releases. This is actually necessary because of 'shadows' being worth having in TANE (meaning that I have to rethink / rework the backgrounds) but it opens a whole can of worms. Watch this space :).

Cheers

Chris
