Model Railroadz

That is just stunning work. And this concept in rout building is completely changed my thinking of what's possible. Thanks for shairing:D

There's something about these model railway routes, everyone seems to produce great looking layouts seemingly easier than your average real-scale route. The model concept must keep the number of boards modest and the detail high. God knows I've fallen into the trap of making massive routes and not having the energy to detail them with scenery.

Good work everyone.

Hi all I am stuck at home with a bad cold so I ah been trying to cheer myself up and mucking about with trains
I have decided to try a small Layout just to work on my detail work before I tackle a bigger route
Now What I would like to know is How do you get the height of the table to the floor
Such information would be grateful
Thank you all

The Brick Wall Is Not On The Download Station Oknotsen where can I find it
Sorry to correct you, but it is on the DLS.
So to answer your question: You can find it on the DLS.

These are the names, kuids, and thumbs of the wall assets available by me on the DLS:

HUGE brick wall, kuid:645812:97925

HUGE wall brick grey, kuid:645812:97930

It might be that you already have downloaded the first one, as it is part of my Huttel Multi Level model layout. Search for "HUGE" in surveyor.

Hi Chris --

"How do you get the height of the table to the floor ... ."

Do you actually mean "How do I make a baseboard and a floor?"

If so, this is what I used as a guide when I started out with model trainz:

I use:

"Dighole 8" (4X8)

"x Floor 01 spline" set @ -55

"HUGE brick wall" set @ -57

"Wall 10m dark stone spline" @ -10

"Track Invisible" @ -2
with "Marsz-I (TRY) EL Support v07"

and

"C+ MR 4M Door"

Good luck.

A small switching layout i'm working on. There is another table, with a mainline, with the full grades, and yard, and harbor and such. Please keep in mind that this is only my first "True" model trainz layout. Thanks!

Epo, superb!!!

Epo,

Absolutely luv your Narrow Gauge MRR Layout. A masterpiece that raises the bar as far as "Model Railways" goes. More screenshots please!!!

Cheers, Mac... :udrool:

I have decided to refurbish my model trainz stuff I left in the dust..

Basically just changing the grass on the layout (previously a small amount of scenery grass, but now lots of spline grass), changing scenery for better versions, and improving trackwork.

A bit of a test trying to get a small reservoir and causeway, I think it's turned out ok.

Sorry to quote a picture from so long ago, but eso, what water are you using in this photo? I'm guessing it's a spline of some sort? Thanks for the hint!

Yep it's a River Spline. Don't have access to CMP dependency lists at the moment to get it for you though. I'll have a look in the game after work though.

Conrail45's picture look like he has a second level (page 14 of this thread). How is that done? I have been looking for a way to do this here in the forums, but with no success.
