Model Railroadz

Hi cfl1604, About YVRR. I visited Jack's layout many times as a member of the Fiddletown & Copperopolis Switching & Historical Society which Jack headed up back in the 70's and 80's. I have lost track of him since then and was not aware of his web site. Thanks for the link.

Luvintrainz, i think you should only dig into the route when it is unavoidable.Looking at your screenshot it looks like you can delete a few of those digholes within the route. If that is only one curve then it looks massive for a model train layout.

A replication of the Great Northern Pacific S scale railroad, circa 1975. Strictly speaking, I should be using Big Boys, Challengers, Cab Forwards, a GS-4 and early diesels, but I like my own stuff too much.

G'day All, this is great and some really good work there. I have a route by mcguirel called PineValley RR i think it is just one board but over the years I have had so much fun with this, I have made several AI sessions that will run continuously and really enjoy this type of setup.
I hope some if not all of these routes are released, they will be so much fun.
Regards
Barrie

Yeah, does anyone have any advice on what spline i could use to cover the empty spaces on the top layer?

Unless or until someone would like to make some variety of ground texture splines, you'll have to be creative and use whats available. I've used JJS dirt roads, CL wall splines, and FMA retaining wall splines that have ground textures attached to them. Glad everyone liked this idea. And thanks to those who have added to it with new items to make these routes look even better. Something different from the monotony of creating regular routes. Great work everyone, Maybe one of these routes will be in A New Era.

Here is some more shots of a different section on my SP Benton Hills Sub(HO Scale Layout). UP power and Rolling Stock are for screenshot purposes.

Trainboi1, is that Lionel(?) controller and switches panel your own work? If so will they be available for download sometime?

Hi SuperFudd, if you're somehow interested in the YVRR, feel free to contact Jack.
We do have a quite active group on Yahoo.

If anyone uses DiGiTrax on their (real-life) model railroads, would you PM me please? I need a bit of help with a project.

Looking good everyone!

Sorry Lenz here. You now what would be cool, if we could hook the Trainz Layout to JMRI to be able to make a CTC panel with JMRI to run Trainz on. I now it is probably Impossible but I can dream right?
