MJcopter's "Missouri Pacific - Route of the Eagle" V3.7

Mike's "Route of the eagle" V3.7 is due to be released in the next week or two.

Mike graciously passed the NEW updated version(3.7) on to me prior to it's release so I could give it a run and see what I thought about the new improvements he had made to it. (Thanks Mike! )

"Route of the eagle" is in the top three of my Favorite routes to run on. For those of you that might not be familiar with this Fantastic Freeware route, Mike started this route back in Sept.2004, and has been continuously updating it ever since. The route is fairly large and beutifully sceniced, it contains just about everything you could possibly imagine in it, Mountains, tunnels, dozens of large spanning train and highway bridges, rivers, lakes, City and countryside running too.

This route has a multitude of working factories, intermodal yards, scrap yards, quarries and Huge manufacturing plants that will provide you with endless hours of enjoyment running a number of freight operations. In this new version 3.7 Mike has expanded the "Desoto" yard and the "Riverside" yard, and added a Catapillar plant giving you even more freight options.

If your into running Passenger Trains, this route is setup for that too, it has several stations scattered throughout it enabling you to do commuter runs. I found you can run a passenger train, and a freight train on this route at the same time fairly easily too.

What I most like about this route is all the attention to detail that Mike has put into it. The amount of detail throughout this route is just unreal, from the City's and Factories, etc., right down to the country settings(Cripes, I swear if you looked hard enough you would find your kitchen sink in it) .

For me, the all time best thing about this route is all the ingenuous little scenes Mike has scattered throughout it. You will find fires with firetrucks and firemen, campsites, police with cars pulled over, and thats just to name a couple of the Many amazing little scenes that really bring this route to life and make it a step above the rest, Very enjoyable when riding in cab mode, or going DCC.

Though this route is Fictional, it definitely has prototypical Mopac aspirations built into it, however, I think you'll find you could fittingly run just about any of your favorite North American Roads on this route and have many hours of great enjoyment in doing it.

You can find the NEW updated version3.7 of this Fantastic route in the next week or two at RRMods.com http://rrmods.com/index.shtml , Its Freeware, just look in the Routes section of the site. (If your a Mopac fan, Joe has the MP GP15's up for preoder right now) This Route is meant for Trainz 2009 SP3- TS2010 .

I hope you folks find this route to be as enjoyable as I do,
- Deano

Mike, the detail in that route is astounding! That actually looks as if you've been trespassing on the tracks and taking pictures
Looking forward to seeing the end product released, free or payware
