Missing Textures in Trs 2019

Hi Shane, yes here is the batch file: C:\Program Files (x86)\PEVSoft\Images2TGA\Images2TGA.exe" -trawl "C:\Users\Josef\AppData\Local\N3V Games\trs19\build 2ebaasyi1"

OK - try the following amendment to that:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\PEVSoft\Images2TGA\Images2TGA.exe" -trawl "C:\Users\Josef\AppData\Local\N3V Games\trs19\build 2ebaasyi1\editing\"

The new parts are in bold.

Shane

Did you replace the line with what I posted (including the " marks)? Command Prompt is very sensitive and can throw up issues if it's not what it's expecting.

Another thing to check is try opening Images2TGA itself from the Start Menu or a desktop shortcut then look in the Options menu - make sure the convert textures option is ticked.

Shane

The convert textures option is ticked, here is the command with the changes: C:\Program Files (x86)\PEVSoft\Images2TGA\Images2TGA.exe" -trawl "C:\Users\Josef\AppData\Local\N3V Games\trs19\build 2ebaasyi1\editing\"

I'm a little baffled as well unless it's something to do with TRS2019 format textures. Do you get any error boxes appearing whilst running the batch file?

Shane

No error boxes, the program starts and then ends, it's probably up for not even a second. Is there anything I could do manually to fix the textures?

There is a manual method using Images2TGA but it will take some time. Use File > Open then point it at the first .texture file inside the first asset folder in that editing folder then open it.

Once done, click File > Save As then click Save to save the TGA/.texture.txt to the same folder.

Repeat for the other textures and assets in the editing folder.

Shane

How are you trying to open the folder? It's the individual texture files you need to view using Images2TGA not the folder itself.

If it's a case of not being able to see the folder, then you will need to turn on the display of hidden files and folders within Windows.
