missing route and consists

Well I really do someone can help with this, I am using 2006 and when I booted into surveyor into the route I am doing which I think looks ok and which has taken me quite a few weeks so far, all I can see is how it was after the first couple of nights work, no locos, and it all missing, Can someone tell me me please how I can get it all back as my heart has gone out of having to do it all again.

go into cmp and look under my content and see if the session id still there

I ha a look but its not there, but I have done an archive a bout 3 weeks back, so if I use that I wont have as much to redo as I thought.
Cant think what the heck as happened but I will now make a cdp save every couple of times I add to it.
Let me please thank you but I dont want to take up your valuable time with an hopeless case.
