Missing pm files for SantaFe Class2900 #2921 and it’s tender

Not only .pm mesh files missing but there are no textures either, just a config.txt file which itself has several syntax errors.

You could e-mail the creator, Rene N. Steinkamp about this asset at the address given in the config. I had conversations with him at that address as recently as 2022. It should still work.

Ok, I’ll try that. Thanks.

First I thought it is an alias but it eventually required TSR2004 due to the invalid character "#" in the names of the files&folders. While unpacked, there were some modifications needed after which the asset sits in my TANE quietly and errorlessly.

How’d you fix it???

Unpacked in TRS2004, pm2im-ed the mesh, repaired invalid files&folders names, corrected config, submited, done!!!

He wasn’t able to help. He said that it was indicated that I already had the PM files but they won’t work on the version I play. But if I had them, they would’ve shown in the asset’s folder. I’m a bit confused rn.

What are You still confused about? Auran changed validation criteria for naming convention when developing TRS2006 from TRS2004. TRS2006+ throws any file&folder with invalid character(s) in their names away during installing (ie. unpacking) cdps. That is all.

I mean, it’s not like he said that. You basically just put it into more simple words. I’m also not really a trainz nerd like I’m trying to understand these situations and if they have solutions or not. But, thanks anyway.
