SantaFe Class2900 Locomotive #2921...

After attempting to use @JAGG 's method, I quickly realized that 04 is a headache, leading to this thread (which is most likely in the wrong forum category)...

Does anyone know where to find the image files/.pm files for the ATSF 2921 loco and tender? Majekear may not have the files anymore, but I'm quite determined to get the thing running.

They are on the DLS, make sure the 'TRAINZ' box is ticked.

Les.

How can I download them?

They do not show up in Content Manager (TRS19) when I search the DLS for those kuid numbers. And the "Download Page" link only takes me to links for Download Helper and FTP, neither of which function.

I went old school. I use MicroSoft EDGE. log onto the DLS, MS EDGE drop down menu (3 dots) top right, "Reload in internet explorer mode",
search 2900 (make sure "TRS2004, UTC, TRAINZ" boxes are ticked, find item, download page, download FTP, I use "save as".

OK I followed that and installed the CDP's of the loco and tender. I was then able to download and install all required dependencies using the normal CM method. However the loco and tender assets are nothing more than config.txt files. There are no .pm mesh files (or .im mesh files or texture files) so Trainz can't load these assets.

How does Trainz know it needs these mesh files if there are no mesh tables in the configs? I can't see any tags such as 'alias' that might relate to that.
Where are the meshes and textures supposed to come from?

After downloading, I first installed in TRS2004, worked OK. Then I tried Trainz2012 and TRS2019, result, Config file only. Turns out the files contain the "# Symbol", which the latter versions don't like.
I copied the folders in TRS2004, edited out the "# symbol" plus sorted out the shadow files to get them working in TRS2019
