Missing Loco Drivers

Is it possible to get a driver into a loco? For instance, I recently downloaded the Amtrack Charger Locomotive DS DES2 kuid2:101046:107939:2. It looks like it should have a driver in the cab. Although I can turn lights on/off etc under properties there is no mention of a driver. Is there some way of adding a driver to the cab. Thanks in advance. Norm.

Drivers physically present a loco cab (not virtual drivers added by the Driver Setup Rule) must be added by the creator of the loco. Some creators provide attachment points in the loco cab so that different physical drivers can be added.

If there is no attachment point for a physical driver and there is no set physical driver, then you cannot add one without access to the original mesh. One possibility is that you may be able to add an attachment point using one of the utility programs from PEVSoft - but which one I do not know. Someone else may be able to give you a definitive answer on that.

That, at least, is my understanding but I am quite happy to be proven wrong.
