Hello
Yes, I know, another message about missing KUIDs!
My computer has broken - don't know why, but that isn't the problem.
Got another computer, thinking "Ah-ha, I have all my work backed up" Turns out I don't! I have restored my work, but they show up with a few missing dependencies. These are, in fact, my own work, so I can't get them from anywhere.
They are simple clones of other things where I have made some slight change. I'm not worried about them, I can easily reload the layout and replace the missing bits. The problem is, TS2010 won't show the layouts in the "Routes" window for me to open.
Is there any way to get Trainz to ignore the dependencies? I have thought about going into the "config.txt" file, and simply deleting the missing KUIDs from the KUID Table. But will this cause the whole thing to go haywire? Presumably, somewhere in the map, those KUIDs are linked somehow to where they were in the layout...
Anybody have any good ideas? Apart, of course, from doing better backups in the future!!
Thanks
Chris
