missing dependinces problem

i downloaded an engine (Bear from wildnorwestern's website) i downloaded it, downloaded the missing dependenceis from the download station the content manger still says it is missing dependinces and it won't show up in the rail yard. i am using trainz 2010 and i am on windows 7. any help/advice is appreciated :)

no (sorry if that sounded rude) , i should have worded the post better, i downloaded all the dependinces that were on the download station and in the dependinces list it says 0 dependinces are missing, but the icon still says missing dependinces. i am trying to find out if there is a way i can find out which are missing or if the download was corrupt or something.

You also need to click on any dependency showing as missing dependencies and select those to download, basically working through the dependency tree, as it seems CMP no longer does this automatically.

The dependencies also might have missing dependencies. Check all dependencies for missing dependencies. Note that also the dependencies of dependencies might have missing dependencies, etc, etc.

In CM right click on the asset to update, choose View Asset Version.
Next click on View in Main List and download the one with the DS icon.
The list should then change with the current version in the snooze mode and the update will have the Installed Icon beside it.

Sometimmes an asset will not update, so in that case you need to write down the kuid for the updated version and the current version. The difference will be the last number (xxxxxxx:xxxxxx:1)or (Kuid: or Kuid2:)
Now choose Edit, Edit in Explorer.
Locate the Config.txt file and open it.
Look for the Current Version kuid
When you find it change it to the Updated Version.
Check all the way through because it may be listed more than once.
Once you have done it, File,Save and Exit .
Return to the asset listing.
Commit the asset
Cheers,
Mike

update: everything is installed and updated but it still says missing dependincies so i think i am going to try uninstalling and reinstalling the custom dependinces (not from the download station.)

It's what it says in Content Manager that's important. Does it show a yellow ? puzzle-piece icon next to the affected asset(s)?
