You may have the asset installed, but is it the same version number or lower? When a route is saved, it may have a higher version number than you have installed.
You can try copying the asset and then importing it back in.Took me a while to reply, I won't deny that, but the config lists <kuid:523:1128> instead of <kuid2:523:1128:1>. I tried to change it, but because the Settle and Carlisle is payware, that wasn't possible. So if you know of a way to fix it, please let me know
You can try copying the asset and then importing it back in.
In Content Manager, Open the asset in File Explorer.
Go to your editing folder.
Copy the kuid-named folder to your desktop. <kuid:523:1128>, for example becomes kuid 523 1128.
Revert this asset to original since you can't edit it directly.
In the copy on your desktop, edit config.txt and update the kuid to the :1 version.
Save and close the config.txt.
Import this asset back by dragging and dropping in Content Manager.
The concern I have is you will need to run PEV's Image2TGA to repair any textures. This may or may not work due to the compressed or locked textures in the assets.
After running PEV's Images2TGA, assuming it worked, submit your asset in Content Manager.
Oh. Even if you could edit the route config.txt that won't work anyway because as soon as you perform a DBR, the missing dependency will reappear due the assets being tracked in a data file. The assets listed in the config.txt file are for content search on the route. When I said I tried to change it, I was referring to the route's config. Admittedly, I should’ve made that more clear.
You can edit the routes config, but not change an asset. If the route has <kuid2:523:1128:1>, you can delete the 2 and:1 to show <kuid:523:1128>.Oh. Even if you could edit the route config.txt that won't work anyway because as soon as you perform a DBR, the missing dependency will reappear due the assets being tracked in a data file. There is previous correspondence on this kuid, <kuid2:523:1128:1> TS09 58 Ballast.
