hey i been to tourist steam railroads in the state STRASBURG, EBT, PIONEER TUNNEL, and the WANNAMKER KEMPTON AND SOUTHERN steam railroad in kempton. and even the railroad musuem of pa.:p

I've been to Mcdonalds. But does that make me an expert on their business practices and exact scientific formulas of their food? No.

Hey dpfan1, what's the "dp" in your name stand for? Is it diesel power? That would be funny since you're a steam fan :'(:p:hehe::eek::D;):udrool:

With the 261 heading back to Wis. (due to failure to agree on a new usage contract) What Engine do you think the Friends of the 261 are going to go after to fix up and use now?

I would love to see them restore NYC 3001 from the Elkhart NYC museum. Would be great to see a NYC steamer going again. ( Actually Elkhart was very close to finalizing a deal with the Grand Canyon group to have them Lease the 3001 and get it going again but it fell apart when they dropped the steam program there).
In JOHNNY CASH HURT music video he was at the throttle of the 4501 also a ledgend of steam.

WHAT does this have to do with the TOPIC? Or the QUOTE?

What's a topic?
NYC 3001 is a ledgend of steam so is sourthern 4501 they both should return to steam with NYC 3001 pull amtrak lake shore limted. and southern 4501 pulling and amtrak,s creasnt to washington d.c..:)

HEY I KNOW THE STRASBURG RAILROAD PRISEDENT:p

And I know the CMO of the Colorado Railroad Museum, the CMO of the Georgetown Loop Railroad, the Executive Director of the Colorado Railroad Museum, the CMO of Lakeside Park, the Owner of Lakeside park (I'm good friends with her), the Title holder of Goose 7 (which, is NOT the Museum believe it or not)

Do you want to know what the difference between you an me is?

I actually work on trains, and drive them, where as you ride them.

HEY I KNOW THE STRASBURG RAILROAD PRISEDENT:p

Hey, he's on the Railway Preservation News at rypn.org. Why don't you join that site (it's free) and prove that you do know him? There are lots of other railroad professionals who would be more than willing to answer your questions about these ideas
