Merging routes
Hello Funnyfarm,
To merge routes you simply move your mouse to the top of the window when in Surveyor and a toolbar will appear. One of the options that appears on this in a drop down box is merge route. Click on that and another box will appear with the names of the layouts installed on your computer. Select the layout and then another box will appear showing your layout and the one you want to merge with. Scroll (zoom) out so that you can see both layouts and then use the grey arrows at the bottom of the window to move the new layout to a position that suits you. If your layout is too big to fit entirely in the merge window you can use the arrows on the edge of the frame to scroll across your layout until you can see the point where you want to merge. If you see a red square in the centre of the window and the green tick is grayed out this means the the new layout is sitting on part of your existing layout. When it's in position simply click on the green tick and the layouts will merge.
As for adding another baseboard, just open the first tab on the left edge of the screen and then go to the advanced tab at the bottom of that window. When the advanced options box drops down you will see a small round button with grid lines drawn on it. Click on that and then click on which ever edge of your layout you want to extend from.
Simple as that!
