Hi guys,

Recently I obtained a scanned copy of the Amtrak Equipment Plan and Data Manual, publication NRPC CMO-117. This is a very useful book (718 pages) of diagrams and statistics of the various passenger cars in the Amtrak fleet at the time of printing (Seems to be somewhere in the late 70s-early 80s, I don't see any reference to Amfleet IIs. It's a very useful document, so I thought I'd mirror the download on my server since the guy I got it from had removed it from his server at one point and I don't want such a valuable resource to go to waste. Then, I spent almost 12 hours splitting the PDF and cataloging every car included, supplementing it a bit with some other sources, and generally making it more useful all around (I think). I'm going to be doing some tweaking here and there, supplementing it with information and such, but for now I think this just might be the single most significant set of documents for us modelers. Many of these cars with storied histories can be traced back to two or three other railroads enabling modelers of all sorts of fallen flags to utilize this resource.

You can check it out at the Amtrak Trainz Group Forum.

I'm not going to repost the complete thing for a couple reasons (no sense having it in 2 places, tons of stuff to copy, making sure everything is working and having it in 2 places makes editing that much harder, going to move it onto a webpage when it's completely sorted out.). At any rate, take a look and see, it might help you out with a current or future project! :D

Wow, that's an incredibly cool collection of diagrams! Great work on the scanning and separating the files. Much appreciated!
