Map of Route is no Longer Oriented North at the Top

Whenever I would look at a map of a route, north was oriented at the top, similar to typical maps. Now there is no sense as to how it is oriented, and is very difficult to read. Every time I look at a map, I must first rotate it so north is at the top. Is there a way to make this default, or are we now stuck with strangely oriented maps?

Thank You
Dean

Dean,

This became broken sometime in between TRS2004 and TS12, sadly. I know what you mean though because it's a pain to have to keep rotating the camera to get north where north is supposed to be.

Thank you for letting me know. At least now I know there is not an easy fix for this. I am glad someone else agrees with me about this issue.

How do you rotate it in map view?

Click on your route then use the arrow keys to rotate around so that north is up at the top where it should be. This will orientate you in the proper direction.

Yes in game view that works any way to rotate map and keep it noryh all the time?

I don't think so. Even the regular map will rotate as you rotate the camera when pressing CTRL+M. It makes deleting baseboards confusing and more apt of clicking on the wrong one.
