MAP AREA

Yes. I assume you are using 2006 or 2009? In the "topology" fly out menu (top one) in Surveyor, find the command that says "Add Ground" (2009) or (I think) extend baseboard in 2006. In 2006 you may have to open the advanced section.

ok thank you and sorry it is 2006 max

Good choice, Okay same fly out menu, top tab, topology. Then choose "advanced" at the bottom, will open new menu, choose extend baseboard, then navigate your mouse (compass) to the area where you want the new baseboard and left click upon the open space.:)

I have had it for about a year but gave up after about a week because I couldnt get anything to look right when i started building. But now i have started with a specific era (time frame) and its all falling in to place now. Wish I could get my CMP to work so I could get more stuff downloaded. Its alot of fun when you get into it.

It is a lot of fun!

We should be able to get CMP working for you. There are tons of CMP-problem threads in the 06 forum (probably too many to effectively search), so what is your specific problem?

Andy ;)

The CMP icon is on my desk top. I click on it and a little bar in the middle of the window pops up and says "checking that user name and password are valid and that you have registered a valid serial number. Please wait...." After about 3 seconds of that I get a "Contenet Manger Plus has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience." Then it ask me if i want to send a error report to microsoft.

Here are my specs:
Windows XP
AMD athlon64 3000+ 1.8G
Nvida 6600 gt oc 128 MB
1 gig ram
300 gig hard drive
22 inch monitor
trs2006 2.6 (BUILD 3092)
I have tried Direct x and Open GL

Have you done a DxDiag? I know CMP requires a robust OpenGL installation, have you the latest drivers for the video card?
