Confirming if this is texture or something else

When I got this new route, and a couple others too, there is a strip of green next to the track. Everywhere else is a grid (grey background, yellow outlines of squares). I'm assuming this is just because they didn't put texture anywhere they didn't need to, but I am new so just wanted to check.

By the sounds of it, you downloaded a dem-map. These are not yet routes, you would need to complete yourself or perhaps the author released the dem-map as a beta

EDIT: Please provide the KUID's for the routes you have downloaded
I have some dem-maps available on the Download Station "DLS" for others to complete

It is an early access map, and there are yet again some unkown assets, though I don't think it's them.

Yeah, that's a beta route. It's still in work in progress and not yet fully released
For now, you can still enjoy driving the route
