Mallet & Shay Trouble

I downloaded a 30in gauge mallet and a 30in gauge 4 truck (Class D) Shay from the 30ng Trainz Downloads page. The tenders load, but the engine does not show the regular steam locomotive menu, such as Boiler Pressure, Water, and stuff like that.
Can someone please help?

I'm not sure whether David designed them to be operational in cab mode, if that's your question.

I believe the engine spec David used was that of a diesel, not of a steam engine, so it doesnt have the interface you would expect, its like any other diesel locomotive you would drive; throtle, reverser, brake, and independant brake...

Have you tried this? Goto the Subpar Productions site, look at the NG,SG and Generic pages and locate any downloads called "Common" that is relevant to your Locos in question. Many of the downloads on this site is nessesary for some of the Locos from Parrott and 30ng. If data is not a problem for you (as for me) you can download the same Locos from Subpar wich may sort you out. It worked for me with the Shay and the F&CC Locos. Good Luck.
