I want to use a DEM route, but I only want 200 boards of a 2000 board route. What is the best way to delete the boards I don't want? thanks funnnyfarm

One baseboard at a time, using Mapview in Surveyor.

My best advice is clone the route, and experiment on the clone, which you rename slightly differently: ie "Blah Route Cut Down".

When making your DEM, set the tile limit lower. I set mine to draw only 2 boards away from the track rather then 4 or more. Its under the "Radius ### Baseboard" tab.

Hi

When deleting boards from routes make sure you save frequently. I learnt from experience to save after deleting 20 to 30 boards as surveyor sometimes locks up and you lose everything that you've done since the last save.
