Adding boards

I want to extend a trainz route with a couple of boards, but once added the new board has dropped well below the
Existing boards. Is there a way to keep the new board level with the existing ones.

Each time you place a new board it will be at an elevation of 0m. Fine if the rest of your route is flat but if you have landscaped you'll need to do the same on the new board to merge the two together.

@PortLineParker is correct when using Classic Surveyor. If you are using TRS22PE or Plus, you can set the height of your baseboards prior to placing baseboards by setting the brush height prior to selecting the area where you want to place your baseboards. When you select the area to add your baseboards, you'll see an option in the list to set the baseboard to brush height.

Thank you for you reply, the brush height you’re referring to, I can’t seem to find. How do you get the height of the original baseboard.
I’m using TRS22.

Press the Alt-key while clicking on the terrain to get the baseboard height. You then continue as I said by using the height of the baseboard.

In Surveyor Classic, everything will be flat at 0 height and you'll have to manually raise up the terrain by setting the height and painting at the height you entered.
