Hello all,
Can someone explain how to get the intermodal to load my train flatcars? The AI driver will navigate to and carry out order to load, but the inter modal is not active. How do I get it to be active and load and unload? I can drive train and stop at correct spot but still the yellow loader will not pick up a trailer? Really need some help with this.

Thanks AllenC

Don't know what route or session you're talking about since you didn't post any kuid numbers. The HP Intermodal works fine in the Shelby Local session on the Maria Pass route.

Hi Bob Thanks for answering me. First let me say I am new to all this. Sorry, don't know what kuid numbers are. Yes the Hp Intermodel works fine in the sessions you mentioned. What I am trying to do is build my own world. Using TS2009.Have placed the intermodal within my own created route, it is there that it don't function correctly. Also, where does on find the Engineers Handbook. thanaks for your patience wirh me. Allen

Hi,

After you have placed the Industry, in this case the HP Intermodel, you have to open the 'Properties' of the Industry and actually 'make' it work the way you want it to.

After you have placed the Industry, click on the 'Edit Properties' button, the '?' in the Objects tab, now click on the Industry. You can now change how much the Industry produces and/or consumes to your liking.

I think this is what you are talking about. The HP Intermodel Industry could actually be working, but it is producing/consuming so slowly you cannot see it.

AllenC,
You don't say what version of Trainz you're using but assuming it's TRS2006 or TS2009, one of the selections in the Trainz Launcher window is Content Manager. That selection brings up a program that will allow you to list all the content, by asset name and kuid number, you have on your system. It also gives you access to all the content on the Download Station.

Another thing to check out is that you have the right flatcar for the type of trailer that the Intermodal uses
Cheers, Mike
