Loudness of the Horn of Locomotives

Do I am the only one with always the same sound volume of the horn of a locomotive?

I am in Build 110491 and for instance the sound of the enginge is getting more muted with the distance, but the sound of the horn has alwas the same loudness, standing one meter away from the locomotive.
The doppler-effect of the horn is ok, but not the loudness.
