Lost Interest in Building Routes

Which is why I pretty much stick to building model railway style routes in Trainz as you can just set up the AI to trundle round for 20 minutes while sitting back and watching. For hands on driving these days, it’s either TSW, Run 8 or SimRail.

Well i think i am the opposite i like building a route then i find myself not operating the route just testing it to make sure it all works thats why i only build small routes 1 or 2 baseboards not 50 or a hundred as some one has said it just gets abit repetitive i have the greatest recard for people who build these very big routes but i like to think small thank you
I missed this post when I had my original scan through this thread. I share this philosophy completely - I enjoy spending time (years?) adding exquisite detail to a small area. Razor's original small routes - Asburton, Windrush, Much Murkle - were inspirational for me. Check out his latest route: kuid:78778:102009 Blywell.
