looking for aussie routes

i am looking for australian routes

are there any made between brisbane,caboolture and rockhampton?
what about sydney to anywhere in nsw?
or maybe the indian pacific route or parts of?

Hello, you don't state if you are using TRS2004 or 06 at all ???

I was looking at this website earlier today just by coincidence, unsure if you have seen it, it's www.users.bigpond.net.au/dreddmanz/Projectz.htm

There's plenty of layouts on the DLS from all over Oz, steam and diesel/electric, just do a search for NSW or QR to find something that might appeal.

i was hoping that someone may have made a route without using built in content, as i cannot get that.

I am revamping an old layout for trs 2006 which goes from Caboolture to Rockhampton. Which should be on the DLS soon. All the stations will be active and you could take coal from the mine, logs from the forestry or transfer freight from Caboolture to Rockhamton. Still a little bit of work to do yet.

i have found
capricornian
capricorn
southlines but their is apparently a way to connect these

i am trying to search the dls but not much luck.

there are a couple of short qld ones too
qr module a
brisbane sydney lins
nswgr currawong creek
jacaranda flats

one that looks australian called wadabale to karrah bay

i also found some fill in ones made by nitroline
they look australian as well
they will come in handy

of course there are a lot of textures missing, but i just put in what looks right

Hi Ron,

If you only have TC then you will have some work ahead of you to fix any layout but then that could be quite a good learning lesson for any new members of the Trainz "Hell" Learning curve :hehe: .

You mention and there are a whole heap of layouts that merge with this one. First from the DLS look for 4801:20044 and that will give you SouthLines. Then look up pgibbons Kuid 68830 and that will give you another 5-6 layouts that connect to Southlines (a note here do know worry about the one called Ulan2Southines). There is another one called WeddinNSW which connects somewhere as well (I have not looked at this one ... YET :hehe: ) look under the creators kuid 56603: and that will find it, the version for 2006 is what you want and the HMTL part as well. Have a look at this thread here for more details.

I just did a search on the forum for "pgibbons" and I found a whole heap of information in a number of threads. In one thread there is a link to the map that shows how the southline and other layouts connect.

Of the other layouts you mention I have heard of some but not to sure where. In my travels around Trainz I will look for them.

I am in the process of constructing the line from Telarah to Dungog in ther Hunter Valley,
The map is being DEM'ed right now, so its far from done.
