Looking For A New Group To Form

No money is needed at the moment to hole the yesterdayztrainz.us domain name; I've already reserved it, so it's a done deal. It will come up for renewal in about a year's time, if we choose to use it. the name was available in other domains, too, last I checked. One note: the name was reserved for educational, non profit purposes. But at the moment it's mine (my intent being to act as agent for the group), so we've got the name in at least one internet high level domain.
As to whom the business agent will be, I don't think that's been decided yet.

Get with frogpipe, he has a web design background. I'd also like to set up a sub forum here if it's possible... also frogpipe's idea. Naturally, I have very little time on the weekdays to look into all this so you two guys can be in charge of this web page project.
I like the target RR you choose... right up around Steamtown USA neck of the woods. Really a great choice, esp. considering the wide varieties of terrains needed along that watershed, says this ex-Pennsylvanian from the other side of the state. Right now I'm in need of a new computer so stuck in TRS2006 worlds. I might be able to stress the system for TRS2009 or '10 but count me in anyways -- by summer's end I'm going to build a new tower.

I would say that at this point the group does not have a target railroad, but ratherr a target era (or perhaps eras). While LWVRR is interested in the Laurel line, others of the group have other target railroads, in divers parts of the country.
I'll extend an welcome to the group; what you need to do is send a Private Message through the forums to LWVRR providing him your Auran User name, first name, email address, Trainz version, and areas of interest (e.g., content creation , tutorials, route building, reskinning, scripting, or in the absence of any of the preceding, general interest).

I like the name and if Frogpipe wants to work on the website, that's okay. I may have a free place to host this. Once I get the details and agreement from everyone on what we want, I'll ask about it. Free is a nice price don't you think?

Just as a little note of order, can we expect an email with attached personalia of new members for instance once a week as long as this is nescessairy, or until a member accessable server space is available?

This is a good heads up for support. It looks like N3V is already coming out with a patch for the patch.

Did mine this a.m. Took over an hour! Do an Extended Database Repair after the install to get everything back in sync.

Yup, I hold off on it until that coupler glitch is either fixed or a new complete patch with this included comes out. Will be a week they said and I'm a patient person. :hehe:
