Now please prove to me and the rest of us that I post screens with photo-shoped frame rate performance examples.

Don't have to just have to quote what you said earlier that "he can now build something even better then what I have for less than $1400." to show that you not only tried to move the goalposts but ripped them down...

With your limited credibility at this point I would surmise the onus to "prove or disprove" your supposed performance would be squarely on you...:hehe:

Do a search in this forum like I said for the “goalpost” you'll find plenty of examples.

Yeah they are all “photo shoped”, do that search and see if they are “photo shoped”, “dumb de dumb dumb”, :hehe:

So let's see if I understand this...

A $400 processor is BETTER than your $1000 processor?

If that's true I'll bet you feel foolish for dropping a grand on that overpriced pos huh?:hehe:

Remember what EXACTLY you typed...

Yes, he can now build something even better then what I have for less than $1400.

You’re not very good at researching or self educating are you?:hehe:

First off Sandy Bridge was just released. Secondly I purchased my first i7 (975x) setup in the spring of 2009 the i7 980X setup was built in spring of 2010.

Because of improvements in the architecture of the CPU SandyBridge can in some instances if overclocked high enough out perform the 980X.

I’m considering replacing the 975X setup with a Sandy Bridge build in about a month or two.

As far as the 980X replacement goes that will probably be when Intel releases the new LGA 2011 CPU’s and the new X58 chipset replacement which will not come until Q3 of 2011.

The only problem I have with the LGA 1155 platform is that it supposedly will not support 6 core CPU’s like the current LGA 1366/X58 platform or the future LGA 2011/X6x platform will (which Trainz does not benefit from anyway).

I run a lot more sims/games than Trainz on my performance setups. One of those will be able to take advantage of up to 16 cores so at least a 6 or 8 core CPU/platform is what I’m looking for as a replacement for the 980X setup when it becomes available.

Since you asked nicely...

Big fan of photoshop elements are we?

Blew all your cash on your rig so you can't afford REAL photoshop?

Got a big bad bug in it too... Or hadn't you heard?

I learned years ago that overclockers were little freaks who desperately were trying to compensate for lack of equipment...:hehe:

So all that horsepower just to play games and sims... Why not just get an xbox? It would be cheaper and faster...

But hey not everyone can build big bad rigs and play sims and games all day... Cool gig if you can get it:udrool:

Do you consider resizing a screen shot “photo shopping” dumb-dumb?:hehe:

Then why did you feel the need to strip the meta data out in later links to it?

If it was just as simple as resizing it:hehe: I think you got size issues... lack of size that is...

Well it has been nice poking you with a stick, I certainly wasn't the first to call you out as someone without a clue and with your obvious insecurities that you feel the need to overcompensate for I doubt I will be the last:hehe:

I learned years ago that overclockers were little freaks who desperately were trying to compensate for lack of equipment...:hehe:

And I learned a long time ago that anyone who tries to game on a Dell is lacking in brains.:hehe:

By the way is there anyone that frequents this forum that actually knows you personally that can prove that your not inadequate with the ladies?

I have a XBOX 360 and PS3 also.

Of course you weren't, this forum runs rampant with stupidity.

When you get over your insecurity when other's bring better toys to the sand pile then you, let us know.:hehe:

Guess that's the difference between you and I, I live in an adult world and you are still in the "sand pile playing with yourself" with the other kiddies...

If your an adult then stop acting like a one of the kiddies. Is this the first time in your adult life that you've come across someone with nicer toys then you?

The difference between you and I is that I don't start spouting off about chit I have no experience with.

I noticed you didn't pm me so I could let you know where to paypal the 50 bux so that I could give you the spanking you so richly deserve for being so inexperienced as not to know that Dell uses REAL intel x58 motherboards...:hehe:

Am I to take that to mean you'll concede your inexperience?

Users of Dell I7's don't have to settle for overpriced clone boards that just use the intel chipset, we get the REAL thing LOL :hehe:

But hey anytime you want to step up and be a man just shoot me a pm and I will let you know where to send the cash and we'll get started on your higher education...

Step up big boy and put your cash where your mouth is and I will show you a mother board that says Intel screened on the board and I WONT have to resort to photoshop elements like you do...:hehe:

Oh and by the way Rhodes Scholar the proper grammar would be "nicer toys THAN you" :o

Rail Operations in Albany:hehe: Porter on a slow train would have been my guess...

Again please explain to us how a X58 motherboard in a Dell is of higher quality than a Asus or Gigabyte.

Yeah you get the real thing alright, just start by taking a look at that BIOS, lol. Oh I forgot you don't even know what a BIOS is right?

Step up kiddie and carry this discussion into a real hardware forum and let's see with others who do have a clue think.

Ask about the quality of Dell's “real deal” motherboards in any one of those forums, lol.

Yes I've worked in the US railroad industry pretty much all of my life, so what have you done in your so-called adult life?

Are you now going to start to share with us your knowledge of railroad operations also?:hehe:

Started my computer career in 1981 and retired in 06 as VP of Technology at CIGNA.

Now I don't need to go to a forum and type away to a bunch of little nerds to validate what I already know. I know that an Intel board is generally higher quality than a 3rd party licensed board.

Since you are ALL over the place and can't keep on topic I can only assume that you have trouble concentrating on the task in front of you, but let's recap shall we?

OP asked if the Dell 9100 would run 2010, Lot's of people said yes...

You came in calling Dell "Proprietary junk" (remember) and I gently explained to you that i7 Dells used off the shelf components and intel boards and then you flew off into a wee-wee contest about sand piles and toys...

Now in having this discussion I am sure glad I do not reside on the east coast if in fact you are working anywhere around a train back there because you can't seem to comprehend even the shortest statements and turn Dell x58's are intels to "are you telling us all Dells use intels?"

If you can't comprehend even the small sentences, it would really be counterproductive getting into a real debate. With that said I offered to give you a higher education yet you still haven't accepted that invitation.Instead you want me to go to forums filled with nerds that sit around all day and overclock and find some kind of perverse satisfaction from it. I really don't think that would be a productive use of my time.

Trainz is my "hobby" little boy:hehe:
I have never claimed to know railroads or railroad operations. But I see you have upped the ante and now consider yourself superior not only in computer knowledge but railroad operations...

What's next? Are you going to brag about some imagined superiority of knowledge in say Baseball? Football? Horse racing? Tiddlywinks? Spaceflight? Are you going to claim you are an Astronaut next?:hehe:
