Loco Drivers

I'm relatively new to Trainz and love it. However - I have one annoying problem that has just started to happen.
When I place a new Loco onto track in surveyor it used to automatically install a driver, but now no longer does.
Can anyone tell me how to cure this?
I would much appreciate help!

Welcome to Trainz.

This is probably because the session has already set drivers for the consists that were present before you added additional locos. To set the drivers in edit session click on the edit session button top left of screen or under menu then click on drivers followed by the edit button. You will probably see a list of drivers with commands already set. Scroll to the botton of the list and add as many drivers as you want plus a few extras for luck, you do not need to add commands if you do not want to.

While in driver if you click on the quick drive button, top right of screen then quick drive there is an option to add drivers, this only works for the current session you are driving so if you want to add the drivers permanently the first option is the one to go for.

Drivers are automatically set only for new sessions and until you or the session creator sets drivers, then Driver only shows the ones that have been set.
