local file size on disk and size of local file different why?

hello: I guess this belongs here I do not know

just checked on my local file in trs06 and I see something when I click on local file a box comes up ok and then I see size on disk and size of local file. the question is why is size on disk and size of local file different.? my size on disk is 5.20 gb and size on local file is 5.10 gb. I suppose its right but I do not understand I thought size on disk and size of local file should be the same? either 5.1 gb or 5.2 gbs but not both it has to be one or the other I would think. i could be worng.

Nothing to worry about, that's the way the file system works - stores files in blocks, if a block has leftover room it won't add part of another file to the same block.
