Hey All

I've been a member of this Community since 2004, so I guess you could say I've seen it all or almost. There are those who have had issues in the past, but that was in the past although they seem to continue to be brought up. When I logged in today, I saw no less than 17 reported posts. Fortunately for me, they had all been dealt with before I got here, and thanks to my fellow Moderators who took care of that.

It's a new day now and we're moving forward, so can we all leave the past in the past and get along now?

We have been around from almost the same time and yes we the community keep you guys busy and the mods us by times.
What happened today you posted this sounds like there was a major setup somewhere, didn't hear didn't see or was it me again ouch:eek:

How come you're still on 2009.
Jump on the TS12 wagon it is more than worth the 45 buck trust me. You will enjoy it more than you think.

Surely you are mistaken... I've never known Ron to post anything that was offensive or untrue! In any case I'm certain the "Fantastic Mr. Fox" did not intend for us to discuss the matter here.

I just regret missing all the hub bub...:'(

And...it was Col. Mustard, in the library, with a knife...
 
Why is it, I am never around when all the fighting starts, all I can think of is, it must be me causing it...;)

I've always believed we should all get along on here, and I regard each and everyone of you as family, it is understandable that two people may not think the same thoughts, and have seperate views, and that is what makes this forum interesting and sometimes fun...

I have to say a good argument on here is quite entertaining at times, and I always have popcorn at the ready, but we have to remember the person we might have a different view too, maybe the person who can help us in the future, so I believe it is always best to keep things topical but friendly...

This is my view only, and I belive the Candyman done it, because the Candyman can.

That's a nice sentiment, and entirely misplaced!:D

I'm not "having a go" at you Airtime, I'm just pointing out that while it's nice to feel that way, and to promote those types of feelings, let us never forget that this whole set up is only a public relations venue for a business. Businesses make decisions based on profit, as they should, and aren't particularly concerned with "family" or "getting along" unless it somehow potentially affects profit.
 
Unforturely we all know that somebody out there will not listen and keep bring up things that we already know that not true. Example many of you might know coachroach2008 on youtube that posts on almost every steam train video and says he scraps them and has a scrap yard yea right.

If this discussion is about what I think it is, then it's a shame that you missed the thread by aardvark that mysteriously disappeared after about 10 minutes. I saw it when it was first posted, went to do something else, and when I came back to my desk to eat my popcorn and watch, the thread was gone. I have my opinions about it, but I guess I'll have to keep those to myself.

Yes, it's best not to speculate, and even better not to voice an opinion based on speculation, lest the COC be interpreted against you. After all, some of us are more "family" than others...;)
 
I too am wondering what I’ve missed (or might have said!)

I find that moderators on this Forum generally work extremely fairly – particularly in comparison with some other sites.

Of course how they arrive at their decisions is one of life’s mysteries.

Three moderators are at the doctor for memory tests. The doctor says to the first moderator , “What is three times three?”
“274,” was his reply.
The doctor says to the second moderator, “It’s your turn. What is three times three?”
“Tuesday,” replies the second moderator.
The doctor says to the third moderator, “Okay, your turn. What’s three times three?”
“Nine,” says the third moderator.
“That’s great!” says the doctor. “How did you get that?”
“Simple,” says the third moderator. “I subtracted 274 from Tuesday.”
