Hi again

Sorry I didn't reply sooner but I have been out today and have only just seen your latest post. Have you managed to get these into 2009? I haven't used them in 2009 yet but they do appear in Railyard which is usually a good sign. If you are still having problems then let me know and I will try to help further.

Regards

Brian

No commiseration required, but, I found what I did by entering the terms "Pendolino" and "Trainz" into Google. It gave me the thread you were referred to as well.

Just for your future's searching knowledge!;)

Hi

I'm running XP SP3 so I don't know if Vista can cause a problem like this. When you say that the download station doesn't pick it up do you mean CMP2? Have you tried importing the cdp? In case you don't know how- open CMP2- click on File - import cdp. This opens a box where you can navigate to the place that you downloaded the file to. Click on the cdp and then ok. This should then import the file into CMP2. When it's finished, click on "open for edit" to see if the imported files have been commited. If there are any files on that page - click on Edit - select all. When all files are selected click on Edit - Commit. If all goes well have a look in Railyard to see if the stock is showing up ok.

I did'nt actually import the files into 2009 as they were in my local folder that I imported from TC3 into 2009. At the moment I'm testing a scenario that runs for 2 hours on my 2009 machine but when it finishes I will see if it will import the files correctly.

Hi yet again

I've just imported the files which I have just downloaded into 2009 using the above method and it is showing up ok in Railyard. As I don't have Google Chrome I don't have that problem but the download is definately a cdp.

It works perfectly!!!!

Thanks you have been great.

Your virtual high 5 is on the way

And now we can officially end this episode of find the train on trainz.

Next time we will be asking people to find a train from a local route called merserail. There is a train on the download station but not the latest one. so the added challenge of next time is to either create one or to find one on the internet that may not exist.
Anyway that will all be explained tomorrow in a NEW forum, so untill then goodbye:wave:
