Legacy of the BN (PART I)

I don't know how this happened. I downloaded all the files, opened up the T:ANE Content Manager, told it to load the CDPs... and it did. 0 Errors.

All I had time to do last night was start the route up, look around, and say, "Wow!" I'll try doing something more complicated tonight. But it looks really nice.
 
So I have downloaded everything, committed everything (that I can because payware) and I still cant get the gp9 or the sw1500's horn/bell to work. I'm at my wits end. :'(
 
Hey everyone it seems that I'am missing all of Tume's content for the route. Is there anyway or anywhere to find the stuff or am I just SOL. Thanks

Hold tight theres several users experiencing quite a bit of missing assets and it doesnt seem to be the Build # that is the problem as several users have the same build, but some also dont have the assets installed whereas others do. May be until Monday before we hear anything as its a discussion we need to have internally as well as with N3V to see where the issue is.
 
In this route, water looks like what it must look like, i.e.: water! No ochre like Amazonian rivers after the storm or electric radioactive blue as seen in the built-ins!

I have just completed the run from one end to the other of BN Legacy. I am at a loss for words to describe the experience !
#1. TANE is not ready for Prime-Time, yet.
#2. I was half way through the route before I realized that the Cab Sway in TANE is tied to the cab-end of the engine regardless of whether it is leading or not.
#3. The almost constant speed limit changes are very unrealistic, as are the sudden grade changes. (Awkward it implement in CAB Mode)
#4. Once I reached the west yard, I received no instructions at all.
#5. As for scenery, it is really quite good. However I do miss the movement of Speed Trees.
#6. Do I understand that the signals are not working in TANE as of yet ?

One suggestion I have is for JR to make a video of any future Pay Ware routes, so people can have an idea of what they are buying.
I for one am not fond of paying $40 for this route.

Hi Dave,

Sorry you don't like the route. There are some things a bit beyond our control when it comes to TANE, we hope that these issues can be corrected in very near future. As with all of our routes, they are free. We sell content packs to compliment the routes however the actual routes are free. As for speedtrees we haven't been able to find anything of suitable quality yet, we may end up having to start making our own.

I was wondering if there has been any progress with issues faced by some users who downloaded BN Legacy?
I am one of those users who is missing 41 assets (see below) which causes my route to look like a dog's breakfast of missing textures, pale colors, green and white checkered areas and bridges, and dashed lines.

As of right now at least you need to be using TANE Deluxe or have Avery Drexel installed on your copy of TANE Standard. We are working to have the 82412 kuids replaced by that creator for our route at this time but dont have the timeline for that set in stone for completion. The other items showing missing here have since been replaced on the route author's copy so we should be all set once we work on the other assets with TUME ( the owner of kuid 82412 ).

Once all of this is completed everyone will be good across the board.
 
Well, downloaded the Avery-Drexel and loaded it into the DLS.
Brought up Legacy of the BN route and it showed NO faults, NO missing dependencies, NO faulty dependencies. GREAT!

Buuuttt, when I opened up the route in T:ANE, there are still quite a few "green and white checkered tablecloth" areas around the country side.
Obviously a missing texture or two, but which ones, as the DLS info states NO missing or faulty dependencies?

Kinda weird driving around in a locomotive whose engine sounds cut in and out along a route where parts look like a psychedelic chessboard.:hehe:
Seriously. I paid good cash for the T:ANE Deluxe Edition and for a JR Layout and dependencies and I am just a little disappointed and a tad P.O'd.
 
Plus that is an easy fix if its a built in assets thats been modified or if its a assets thats been modified but the modification made it faulty then all you have to do is open it for editing and revert to original or if its on the DLS delete it and re-download it and it should fix that problem.
