Layout Bashing or how to get more enjoyment out of Trianz Model Railroad....

To achieve the addition was pretty simple, first off I placed one JR Metal Fabrication shop and one JR Loading dock:

Next I added one more of each but used the opposite side of the fabrication shop and loading dock:

I merged the second loading dock with the first to form one dock and slid the second shop over to merge with the first one:
I had to raise the shop on the left side to be in line with the loading ramp and door by
using the height tool in Surveyor

Below: Before and after....

Simple steps to make new objects out of ones you already have...still need to figure out what this industry will be used for.........???

Thank you for the kind words, I will have to figure a way to share it since it is considered modifying a payware route and not allowed on the Download Station....

Station number 3, I thought a small suburban station would blend in nicely here....added some signs, a parking lot and lights for it along with some cars and will fine tune the details soon.....

This would serve mainly the industries in the area.

Thanks, I will try to get some more post out, running out of real estate though, lol.

What to think about making a comic cartoon story?
You can make that as long as you want, a never ending story.
No need to care about performance because it's not a route, just pictures.
One scene can have hundreds of details.
Just need a good story line.

You have the skills to do it!
Go for it!

:)

Edit:
Cartoon was the right word I was looking for.
Thank you, zsuda
In Dutch this is called: Een Stripverhaal.
Jaja, was alles maar zo makkelijk als gewoon simpel Nederlands...

i could buy the payware and you download a session for it.... dls or dropbox or website or ....

when i want to change some payware, its not allowed anymore... in the past you could clone a payroute and learn a lot of it...
the only thing i could do is making a session.... but if i want to change the layout it is not always possible.... because i cannot delete or add some rails or scenery....
i believe there are some skills to overrule that all but i'm not (yet) that far ........

another question: how do you do this nice "cartoon"-looking sphere... do you make straight screenprints or do you add something with photoshop... i like it so much ....
i keep on following you...

thnx for sharing

The route/layout is Brazemore Yard which is installed in TMR17 (Trainz TMR17) which is what I am using for the screen shots. The pictures you see have been "enhanced" using the windows 10 photo app, if your running windows 10 and it has been recently updated you should be able to click on a downloaded picture and then choose "edit" after that select "enhance" and it will make the colors brighter but also sharpen the image more....below is a screen shot of the utility:

As you can see on the top right you would choose "edit" then below the words "enhance your photo" click on the left side of your picture and adjust how you want the image to look. You can also select one of the filters under "Choose a Filter" if you prefer.

And you can add scenery to a payware route, you can't change the ground height or add specific ground textures such as grass or dirt, but you can add weeds, flowers and trees... you can add buildings and also put them on top of other buildings already there like I do to cover them...and you can't add tracks but at least you can modify the buildings, just need to be a little creative in doing things to achieve what you want. You might get a warning that says you can't save your changes unless you start another session which I did , also let it auto save and your items will remain (you can always resave the auto save under another name if you desire.) Just don't delete the original auto save or you may lose your work.....
