Hi;
I have been working on one of my routes in TS2010_SP1. I am trying to move objects to the correct layers; track, buildings, flora, etc.
I have noticed some very odd behavior here.
After I have moved a good number of objects from route layer to their appropriate layer, I save the route and session.
I find that if I exit Surveyor, then come back and open the session I just saved, the objects I placed on the different layers are back on the original (route) layer.
I was perplexed by this, but was able to track down the problem.
If the object does not have anything in the name field in properties, it will not move to a different layer.
The name for the object does not have to be the name that you see in the objects list. It can be anything at all, as long as the field is not blank.
I am wondering whether anyone else has seen this behavior, or is there something wrong with my install?
This is TS2010_SP1.
