I couldn't resist so I started decorating a few areas on the map.

This is the South Scranton area. I have a few more houses to add to this location.

Just after the Crown Avenue Tunnel, the trolleys still run over these tracks today all though its reduced down to one track.

Connell Junction to Virginia

Moving south...

At Virginia there is a switchback. This is the start of the 2 mile Minooka Branch Line. The Minooka Branch services 5 on line industries.

Virginia to Rocky Glen

Here are a few more...

Heading south from Virginia on a early morning coal run.

Passing Rocky Glen Pond...I think of it more like a lake.

Passing the Million Dollar Roller Coaster...looking like it's worth a little less then a million dollars.:D

Yes. Looking very good. :D

I have to ask about the roof over the platform on that one Wilkes-Barre station, what with it being held up with brick braces. Is that even possible? :hehe:

I never thought about until you brought it up! We'll have to look into that.:o

Well, these days it's certainly possible, but for the time of this building it's surely too modern. I actually left it in to not let the polycount go completely through the roof.
Maybe with later optimalisations of the building mesh it could perhaps be possible to make a metal roof carrying construct, but for now it's this I'm affraid. :)

Greetings from nighttime Amsterdam and Happy Easter,

Got it. :)

It still looks good. I only just realized that after staring at it in amazement for about a minute. :hehe:

man this looks great...I wish i could use that track(the standard version), but my videocard doesn't like it:o

Anyway, would it be possible to do a "proto-lanced" mod and string catenary on this as a second version? just because we've got plenty more pantograph-operated electric interurban engines than third-rail shoe operated. It's ust got that down-home interurban feel that i think we've been missing from trainz.

just a thought...Ignore it if you want, just thought i'd ask.

I might be able to do that if enough folks request it. You know there are sections on the layout that uses overhead wire.

yeah, i knew that (hope that didn't just sound snotty:confused:) but i just wondered about the whole route being under wire. anyway, even if you don't, nothing's stopping me from doing it myself:D

How about a night time shot of the front of the Wilkes-Barre station? I wanna see how that LWVR sign looks in its rightful resting place. If I can work out how to upload it to the DLS as a build 3.3 asset, will you be able to access it? If not, what is the maximum build number I should use (bearing in mind that the higher the build number the longer it will remain as a 'supported' asset under N3V's social Darwinist life cycle policy).

This is the Browns Patch or Avoca Stop. Here the Laurel Line had a sub station and a small freighthouse. The substation is being worked on in Blender but the freighthouse can be seen. Also seen...the Consolidated Coal Breaker that looms over the area.
