Laptop for Trainz

With age 85 rapidly approaching I am facing the real probability of being relegated to a nursing home where a desktop with monitor etc. would be permitted. Accordingly I am considering acquiring a laptop that would run any of the Trainz series. Any suggestions, particularly regarding a suitable graphic card? Many thanks.

well my Toshiba laptop has worked fine with trainz 12 ironically it has complete no lag on any routes unlike if I'm playing on the desktop which every route built in lags so much but I would look into a Toshiba maybe I'm not an expert on computers but you could try that. and also I don't mean to be nosy but I want to ask i don't get it why would you be in a nursing home I don't really remember if she is my great grandmother but she's 92 i think and i think she still lives at home home come is it because of having arthritis or something like that sorry I just was a little puzzled on that

get an i7 CPU with a 2GB Nvidia 600 series or 7000 series mobile GPU and 8GB RAM minimum spec, 256GB or larger SSD hard drive or larger. You will be good to go for a long time. Enjoy!
