Lack of moderation problem

This seems to go with the theme of "trainz comunity" and doesn't fit anywhere else.

I am shocked at the lack of moderation, fights are breaking out EVERYWERE!
Maybe if someone was there to break-up those fights, (such as a moderator) the site would have less spam and useless fights that take up useful space on the website.

I may have come from a forum of highly-strict moderators and expected the same here, but these fights and cyberbullying tirades are intolerable.

THIS SITE NEEDS MORE MODERATION AND FEWER FIGHTS!
 
We Mods do the best we can, bearing in mind "strict moderation" isn't what we do. We do try to keep the place friendly and constructive, but occasionally we must intervene. Please bear in mind we can't be here twenty-four hours a day. Reporting posts by the members here is very helpful.

Yeah it's not to do with the mods. It's to do with the idiots, the off-topic posts and the pointless threads that some people start in their infinite wisdom.

Who do you blame for crime increases? Police, or criminals?

Just kidding, but I have noticed that there are WAY too many fights that could be avoided be rejecting and locking posts.
WAIT, DID HE JUST SAY, "MODS"? I just got slammed for using that MB slang term.
 
Moderators do not view posts before they become public unlike a few sites where you came from. It's not that easy to be a moderator, patrolling every single topic.

Like others have said, if there is a problem, hit report and the moderators will get to it ASAP.

I have seen fights that are no more than cyberbullying and angry words and have nothing to do with the topic.
Expressing ideas that are relivant to a topic and don't hurt others is fine by my standards.
If the fight posts that have nothing to do with the topics could be rejected, there would be more time to answer questions and get answers than just fighting for frequently lost pride.

I come from a world where it takes at least 2 hours for a post to become public.
Also, the moderators are more involved. (they even have their own topic just for chatting with them)
The only down side to their strictness is that they won't allow someone to mention the Bible or anything alse religious.
(I have had numerous posts rejected for that)

Moderators are volunteers who have lives outside of trainz, it would be nearly impossible to read every post in every language that is available on these forums. I see nothing wrong with letting posts go and reporting anything that needs reported. At this point, all I can say is if you can't stand how the moderation works here, I'm sure there other forums for trainz that are super strict that you can find.

A prime example of off-topic fight-starting words. What I have learned is that if you don't like something, no amount of petitioning, fighting, or cursing will change anything. (Especiallly if it's a decision made by a mega-corperation)
 
Allright, I know this may have never been done before, but, THIS TOPIC SHOULD BE LOCKED BEFORE THE DISLIKES AND ANGRY POSTS START SHOWING UP.

The same thing happened to me when I showed my dislike for the lego movie. I overreacted, a fight started, the whole message board almost collapsed, then a mod showed up and locked the post. (after I had requested for it to become locked over and over)

Can I offer one piece of advice for you? It would be in the best interest of everyone if you do not bring up what happened to you wherever whenever if it does not directly impact what is occurring right now. I highly recommend you listen to this so you don't unintentionally come across as sounding like you know everything and create additional unneeded drama.

Um, I don't think you would want to do that. I have done that many times and it hurts, BAD. Then it leaves little marks that say LEGO on your foot.
I don't ever want to deliberately start a fight, so, I won't be saying any hateful words back at anyone.

So there's no locking posts? How do I end a conversation before it gets ugly then?
I wish to end the conversation now so as not to unneccasarily hurt anyones feelings or make anyone mad, meaning I will not be replying to this thread anymore after this. Also, I don't want anything I have said in this thread to negatively impact other posts with fights.
