KUID problem

Whenever I try to download a new item from the internet for Trainz. a message like this appears

unable to download <KUID:95761:50160>.Couldn't obtain a download URL. Item cannot be found on the download station.

WHAT DO I DO

I also have this problem - get the same message. And I do have a FCT

GDriver - you need to have either bought and activated a FCT or bought and registered a later version of Trainz (just having TRS2006 or earlier without a FCT is not enough, as they are not supported)

ajleske - can you post affected item names/KUID numbers, as some dependencies for routes/sessions are not on the DLS (also make sure you have done the password-change proceedure in your profile (you can use the same one))

Hi Shane, password-change procedure? Never heard of it... Can you enlighten me? I only downloaded TS2010 on Monday - it is the 1st TS game I have purchased for the PC. I got addicted to my iPad version, which made me decided to purchase the PC version

As for affected names / KUID numbers... I have tried downloading session / routes called Trainz Island, and various sessions that go with that route (i.e. A Normal Day, General Goods Train, Container Train etc). The errors I am getting is broken or missing dependencies. Some of the KUID's missing for the Trainz Island include:

Then there is still a bunch missing from the routes as well! Should I just delete them and try a different route / scenario?

OK - just checked on one of the missing kuids - it is indeed not on the DLS (you may need to use Google, or another member may know where to find them)

As for the faulty items, they are being slowly updated to fix the faults via the DLS Cleanup process.

The password-change process is as follows (make sure Trainz is closed during this process, as your FTP password will change, even if you use the same Planet Auran password)
1.Click Profile above, and login if requested.
2.Click Edit Account (left-hand side of page)
3.Next to Password, click Edit, then fill in the form (you can simply re-enter and re-save the same password if you want to)

Any version above TRS2006 will be OK (TC1+2,TC3,TS2009 or TS2010), or you can buy a First Class ticket (at $24.99 for 1 year) from the Auran/N3V store (http://www.auran.com/auran/store/index.php?p=2&category=38&platform=8&sort=4)
